How is it that January is already over? This past month has flown by, and although St. Louis has been teasing us with Spring-like temps, today it definitely feels like Winter, which means I think a bit of R & R is in order. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, wherever you may be. xx
Nosh on Fish n’ Chips and enjoy a Robust Porter at the pop-up British cafe created by Kitchen Kulture, and peruse the new exhibition, Joy in People, by British artist Jeremy Deller, all happening Friday night at Contemporary Art Museum.I’ve been wanting to take my boys ice skating this Winter, and I’ve never been to Steinberg Skating Rink in Forest Park, so this weekend I plan to do both.Being from Denver, my husband grew up eating Mexican food. My idea of Mexican food, however, was a late night trip to Naugles to soak up some grease. My culinary tastes have evolved thank goodness and St. Louis is fortunate to have some great taquerias, especially on Cherokee Street. The veggie burrito at El Bronco is a personal favorite dish.Instead of dinner and a movie, how about coffee and a concert? This monthly music series at the Sheldon Concert Hall starts next week, but it’s just too cool not to tell you now.
Total geek question. The skates in the pic, are they yours. I swear I have the same ones, LOL, Riedell’s right? Sorry, I know, again, total geek q but glad I swung by from Bloggy Moms.
