How is it that January is already over? This past month has flown by, and although St. Louis has been teasing us with Spring-like temps, today it definitely feels like Winter, which means I think a bit of R & R is in order. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, wherever you may be. xx

Being from Denver, my husband grew up eating Mexican food. My idea of Mexican food, however, was a late night trip to Naugles to soak up some grease. Since then, my culinary tastes have evolved. St. Louis is fortunate to have some great taquerias, especially on Cherokee Street. The veggie burrito at El Bronco is a personal favorite dish.

Instead of dinner and a movie, how about coffee and a concert? This monthly music series at the Sheldon Concert Hall starts next week but it's just too cool not to tell you now.
