Creamy, dreamy, simple and sweet. That about sums up this smoothie. It has only four ingredients and just the right amount of ‘greens to sweets’ ratio to make it healthy and satisfy your sweet tooth. (Although if you’re craving chocolate, this probably won’t help. I’ve tried.)
Makes 1 8-10 oz. smoothie
Ingredients:
1-1 1/2 cups frozen mango
1 cup fresh baby kale* leaves
1 cup toasted coconut almond milk blend OR almond milk
1 tbsp chia seeds (check your teeth for chia seeds after you drink!)
Optional: 1 tsp of local honey for additional sweetness
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients together in high-speed blender until creamy and smooth. Check for taste and alter as desired.
*Kale can vary in taste and texture so use a small amount and add more accordingly. I prefer using a brand such as Organic Girl Baby Kale, because the taste is mild and the leaves are tender, plus I can use the extra kale to make salads too.
